"I was introduced to Rebecca in the fall of 2010. A woman in my Holistic Mom's group recommended her and she was doing "phone classes/talks" at the time with Q&As. By the end of those calls I knew she was the one to help me better parent my daughter who was only 6 at the time. So she became our parenting/family/communication coach and even came to our home to observe us as a family unit to get us over a big, huge hump! More recently she has become a grief coach because my daughter, now 18, & I lost her dad, my hubby 3 years ago suddenly in an accident. We are also blessed to call her "familia"!
Intuitive, gentle, alternative, good listener, companion are some of the words I use to describe Rebecca. Mine and my family's well~being has been enhanced by our relationship with her, she's always treated us with kindness and respect and never have we felt "broken" in her loving and supportive care. I think our years together speaks volumes for how great she is at what she does. And I can say she's evolved over the years and is always on the pulse of what's new and next to consciously parent & live a conscious life. There's no one I would rather have on my and my daughter's well~being journey than Rebecca."
“My work with Rebecca has led me to be so much more attuned to and supportive of my internal rhythms and to the rhythms of my spouse and child. I have really discovered the power of the pause in every relational situation. Creating space for my verbal and somatic stories in the present and the past and those of my husband and child has been deeply healing for my entire family. I have also learned a lot about the influence of my birth story and that of my child on the way we deal with transitions in the present and ways to support ourselves better in these times. This is such a gentle, safe, somatic way of working - it often feels like a warm womb bath to be held in this way by the group and Rebecca - with presence, slowness, and attunement.”
“Rebecca’s approach has never been to simply fix the problem but for me to learn my own tools for creating a better relationship with myself and my children. There is no punishment or blame anywhere. It is whole and encompasses the whole of reality. I used to yell and get scared and try to fix big, uncomfortable feelings with anger and force.
Now, I can just stop and be present and trust that my children can work through whatever is up for them so as long as I am present with myself and my feelings and them, creating safe space for whatever needs to come through and be moved, to come to some resolution point.”
Currently, Rebecca has limited spots available for one-on-one consultations. To begin the process, please email support@consciouslyparenting.com. You’ll fill out a brief contact form and then receive a link for a free 30-minute consultation with Rebecca. During this session, you’ll decide together if it feels like a good fit to work together. If you both agree it’s a good match, you’ll receive an intake form, make a payment for your next session, and schedule your first appointment.
When you begin your work with Rebecca, you'll be collaborating to identify the most helpful steps toward greater connection and peace by addressing the underlying reasons for your child's behaviors. Consultations last one hour and are conducted via Zoom. You can expect a lot of listening, thoughtful questions, and reflection to ensure she fully understands your situation and circumstances. During this first session, you’ll receive strategies tailored to support you and your child in the present. Many parents find that three sessions are beneficial for initiating change, ideally scheduled weekly.
If you’re ready for change and what you’ve been doing hasn’t been working, reach out for a free consultation to see if it feels right to work together.
