Healing Story Circles

Healing Story Circles are a time to slow down and connect with each other without judgement, or other people trying to fix you, or tell you what you should do. Together we create a space where you can truly be seen, heard, and felt. We will be gathering to share stories and truly listen to one another so we can each find our own way, our own path, and connect with our own inner guidance. We understand that this kind of support is especially important right now with the additional challenges created by the corona virus. Please plan to join us!

This online circle is for you, if you want:

  • Connection with other parents who really “get” you.
  • Meditation to calm and ground you and move you out of survival mode.
  • Time for yourself in a space that was created especially for you.
  • Community that is vital to our well-being, especially during this time of physical distancing.

Sign up above and we’ll send you the schedule of upcoming calls.

Rebecca Thompson Hitt, MS, MFT, PPNE is the founder and executive director of The Consciously Parenting Project, LLC. The Consciously Parenting Project began in 2007 as a collaboration between parents and professionals to support more connection in families around the world. Rebecca is passionate about helping parents to find their own path, rather than a following a formula to try to get their kids to comply. There’s nothing more important than the relationship and we need tools and information to find our way into connection when most parenting information leads to more disconnection. Using an understanding of basic neuroscience, epigenetics, attachment theory, neurobiology, the nervous system (Polyvagal Theory), and Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology, Rebecca empowers parents to co-create the connected relationships they need for their families with one-on-one family sessions, community groups, and professional trainings. She is the author of 3 books on parenting with her 4th on the way later in 2020 entitled All Relationships Can Heal.

Rachel Rothman

Location: Bainbridge Island, WA, USA
Time Zone: Pacific Time USA (PDT)

Click for more info

Rachel lives outside of Seattle Washington and co-parents her 15-year-old son. She joined the Consciously Parenting family in 2013. This began her process of repairing her relationship with her son and finding a more conscious way to parent. In her own journey she was raised by an authoritarian parent and continued this parenting style as a schoolteacher, until it began to break down in her own parenting. At that point she decided to explore other ways. Since beginning she has radically shifted the way she works with all people, using the consciously parenting methods that are both inclusive and respectful, honoring everyone no matter their age or status. She completed the 2-year training with Consciously Parenting as well as an Intuitive Energy Healer Training Program with the School of Intuitive Studies. She uses a combination of these techniques to listen, assist in shifting stagnant energy, and support integration in her one-on-one sessions.

Jen Kobrick

Location: Port Orange, Florida, USA
Time Zone: Eastern Time USA (EDT)

Click for more info

Jen is the wife of a space geek and homeschooling mom to two little ones. She knew when she became a mom that she wanted to parent differently than she experienced growing up. She read the usual books, took classes on birth and breastfeeding, and set out to Do Parenting Right. Then she was blessed with an intense, challenging, incredible little person who didn’t do anything the way the books said he would! Jen’s early parenting journey was difficult and emotional. She was fortunate to find supportive community that helped her adapt to her son’s needs, and when she found Consciously Parenting things really began to shift in her family and in her relationships with her children and her partner. Consciously Parenting gave her the tools and framework to grow, heal, and connect with herself and her son, and to respond instead of react in intense, emotionally heated moments. As Jen has found more joy and connection in parenting, she has felt called to support other families doing this work to heal and grow, especially families of young children. When she’s not building with Lego or making another batch of dino nuggets, Jen enjoys travel, scuba diving, knitting, and ballet. Jen is a certified Holistic Family Consultant through the Consciously Parenting Project’s 2 year training program.
Her availability is primarily afternoon, exact availability varies by day. (Eastern time)

It was such a profound experience she wanted to share this work with the world. She is now an Holistic Family Consultant through Consciously Parenting. Natalia Turley

Location: Ireland
Time Zone: Irish Standard Time (IST)

Natalia has been working in the field of health and wellbeing for over 20 years. Her journey began while studying Speech, Language & Audiology Therapy in her home country, Uruguay.
During this time she became fascinated with understanding the root cause of illness and prevention, rather than managing symptoms. It lead her into the world of energy therapy, meditation and onto a path of profound self-discovery. This kindled her passion for Functional Medicine – and in the process she qualified as an acupuncturist and yoga teacher, and opened her own integrative therapy clinic in 2010.
Working with hundreds of clients over the last decade, Natalia realised that a significant element underlying the health issues and emotional traumas presenting in her clients was largely due to the way they were parented as children.
When she became a mother herself, many new stresses, doubts and fears came to the surface – which gave her the perfect opportunity to keep learning and exporing the art and practice of parenting. This deep enquiry has progressively enabled her to enjoy motherhood more than she ever could have imagined and helps her to meet ongoing challenges with increasing grace and ease
Her mission is to contribute in any way she can to liberating people from the looping unconscious and destructive patterns that can weave their way through our experiences – and provide space for more conscious, loving relationships to form. She believes harmonising the parent-child dynamic is central to this process.
Natalia is a member of The Consciously Parenting Project as she feels it encompasses all of the values she holds dear and it provides a platform where she can actively connect with parents around the globe.
Living in Ireland with her husband and two beautiful children, Gabriella (6) and Sebastian (5) – her vision is to be part of a world with healthier, happier parents and more empowered children.
Natalia is available Monday to Friday, 5:30 am to 7:30 am or 8 pm to 10 pm. Saturday or Sunday 8 am to 12 pm.
