Adopting and Launching mom

I have an adopted son, 17, who has been diagnosed with varying mental illnesses over the years. He got his first diagnosis at age 7 (not counting withdrawal symptoms from in-utero exposure to Crack). It has been one long roller coaster ride. He is about the launch from home, maybe. I am way nervous about that. I am 59, have had 4 bio kids who are grown, and have adopted 4 special needs kids. Tommy is the youngest, and the most severely handicapped.

I don't know how to help him, but we are doing extensive counseling and meds at the moment. He just got out of the hospital for another cutting episode. He is on shortened school day.
