Today, we had a new little person join our family here at Consciously Parenting. Please help me in welcoming Alexa Grace! You may know her mom, Lianne, our webmaster and assistant extraordinare. She was born at home in water and weighed exactly 8lbs around 5PM Eastern today. Congratulations, Lianne! Mom and baby are doing great!

You are a beautiful addition to our little community here, and also to the entire world. I just saw pictures of your birth and I cried and cried when I saw your face.

I wish I was near you. I would hold you and whisper sweet secrets in your ear. Then I would hand you to your mama and she would nurse you for as long as you wanted.

We love you already!
