Interested in learning more about parenting from a place of love instead of fear, but not exactly sure how to go about it? Are you at a stuck point in your parenting journey, not knowing how to handle behaviors from your children with love and respect? The class will last approximately 90 minutes each session. There will also be a private forum area to discuss the ideas in between classes, to get to know your classmates better, and to ask questions throughout the week as things happen in your family. The class is called Beyond Consequences for all families and is based on the book, Beyond Consequences, Logic, and Control written by Heather T. Forbes, LCSW, and Dr. B. Bryan Post. The class is taught by Rebecca Thompson, M.S., who is a certified Beyond Consequences Instructor and has person as well as professional experience with this model.
